Golden State Warriors continued their Round 2 in high moments as they swept Utah Jazz102-91, making a 3-0 win in the semi finals. Most of the times, the Warriors are able to grab a win without Kevin Durant and when he was out on injury they continued their winning streak that helped them clinch 1st seed in the Playoff berth, but in the Game 3, he proved to a reliable anchor; the reason he was separated from his duo with Russell Westbrook to join the Warriors.
He increased his scores from 17 points and 5 rebounds in Game 1, to 25 points and 11 rebounds in Game 2 and a slaughtering 38 points and 13 rebounds in Game 3. The Warriors might be able to go into the Finals without coach Steve Kerr, but they won’t be able to that without Kevin Durant.
In the 2nd quarter of the Game 3, the Warriors held a strong 31-20 lead over Jazz and nearing the end of the 4th Quarter, Jazz took over with a 80-79 lead threatening the Warriors of a possible come back. In moments when Stephen Curry who scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists was not quite lucid, Kevin Durant shook up the Jazz with his 17-5 run and led the Warriors to another win of the Round.
